Child Safety Standards and Reporting

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page explains our safeguards, reporting channels, and compliance with Child Safety Standards and applicable law. Tailor is built for adults and is not intended for children under 16.

Language

Our commitments

  • Remove and report any CSAE content or behavior immediately—no warnings or exceptions.
  • Tailor is for adults; we block sexualization of minors and do not market the service to children.
  • We follow Child Safety Standards and all mandatory reporting laws that apply to our service.

Prohibited content and conduct

  • Child sexual abuse material or exploitation in any format, including AI-generated, altered, or instructional content.
  • Grooming, enticement, or solicitation of minors, including attempts to obtain personal details or meet offline.
  • Sexualization of minors in imagery, video, audio, text, drawings, or deepfakes.
  • Sharing, linking to, or monetizing CSAE content, including trading, purchasing, or distributing it.
  • Impersonation of a minor or adult to exploit children or facilitate CSAE.

Reporting and escalation

If you encounter suspected CSAE, exploitation, or child endangerment, alert us immediately. Include links, usernames, timestamps, and any available context. We prioritize and escalate these reports without delay.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement first, then share the details with us so we can act on-platform.

Report a child safety concern

How we respond

  • Immediate review, removal, and account suspension for any CSAE content or behavior.
  • Preservation of only the data needed to meet legal reporting duties and assist lawful investigations.
  • Mandatory reports to the appropriate authorities (e.g., NCMEC/INHOPE hotlines or local law enforcement) where required.
  • Additional safeguards like feature restrictions, blocks, and device/account bans for confirmed offenders.

Prevention and safeguards

  • Tailor is designed for adults and not marketed to children; we discourage account creation by minors.
  • A mix of automated signals and human review helps us detect and block abusive uploads, links, or sharing patterns.
  • User-generated areas are moderated to prevent grooming, unwanted contact, and sharing of prohibited material.
  • Clear reporting controls and in-product safety tips remind people how to stay safe and escalate issues quickly.

Data handling for child safety

  • We minimize retention for child safety cases and keep only what is legally required to support reporting and investigations.
  • Information in child safety reports is restricted to authorized personnel and transmitted using secure channels.
  • If a report is resolved and you need personal data removed, contact us; we honor lawful requests wherever possible.

Need help or to appeal?

If you believe a child safety action was taken in error, reply through the reporting channel with context. We review substantiated appeals promptly while prioritizing survivor safety and legal obligations.
